HOLMM. is a Danish brand based in Copenhagen, led by creative director Marie-Louise Fischer. It began with cashmere for children and today also makes knitwear for adults, but the principle is the same: a few carefully chosen natural materials and styles made to last. Balaclavas, neck collars, neck covers and scarves, knitted in a light ribbed structure that sits softly against the skin without itching. A small embroidered heart at the edge runs through several of the styles. Cashmere gives a great deal of warmth for its weight, which makes these pieces well suited as the layer under the jacket or on long walks with the pram. The Wira balaclava has an adjustable drawstring along the face and can be worn as a collar around the neck or pulled up as a hood when the wind picks up. The colours, Powder, Otter, Derby and Navy, are chosen to be worn together, and everything is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.
Cashmere needs airing more often than it needs washing. When it does need water, hand wash or use a gentle wool programme at no more than 30 degrees.
